Plot:
Funny my mom always told me when I was little that Burt Ward was a very mean person who picked a fight with the wrong person at a bar and was killed lol.
Adam (Adam West) and Burt (Burt Ward) are invited to a party where the 1966 Batmobile is stolen right from under their noses!
While searching for the stolen Batmobile Adam and Burt share their experiences and give away secrets in the making of the 1966 Batman television series.
Also stars Jason Marsden, Julie Newmar and Frank Gorshin.
How did Adam West and Burt Ward become TV's Dynamic Duo?
Return with the original stars as they search for clues to Who stole the Batmobile.
To find the Vile Villain they must relive their past.
Goofy, campy, and lots of fun! Great nuggets from the original series mixed in with great cameos. Check it out!
an halariously original take on the typical "true life behind the scenes movie of the week" genre, with great performances in the flashbacks, as well as laugh-out-lound deadpan performances from Burt, Adam, AND Frank
greatest 2 pound i ever spent, i think, its sooooooo funny me an my friend got it for sambo jones as a joke b-day present but it was so good that we kept it instead, lol he was annoyed, get it right now!!!!!!
Saw this thanks to daytime tv slots. So campy and so lame but Adam West is so great at mocking himself.
It's SO silly, and SO generally bad, it's good. About 30 years after their show is cancelled, Adam West and Burt Ward are forced by an evil-doer who's stolen the Batmobile to remember their past. Craziest thing ever!
Absolute brilliance and the epitome of how a Television movie of this type should be constructed. Return to the Batcave, essentially, is a film that is difficult to fault as the film rolls with constant laughs, a natural progression, and likability that will put smiles on all faces. But where Return to the Batcave truly makes it's mark is through the fact that while the film has charm - it also back itself up with nicely implemented film elements. We are given a script that alludes to giving insight into the history of this often humoured show, while also giving plenty of due time for our two current heroes. Watching Adam West play Adam West is one of the most enjoyable viewing experiences that a television movie has to offer.
Alternately ridiculous and amusing. Not as moronic as one might expect, and the flashback scenes of Adam and Burt's days working on the TV series are actually pretty good!
Okay, I know this one is going to be bad... YOU know this one is going to be bad... I just can't help myself, I'd actually like to see this one... it'll probably end up in the WTF department though...
This was a great look back at Batman as we new him ! And Robin Too ! Narrerrated by the ones who new then WEST and WARD !
funny adaptation of Adam West's book, "Back to the Batcave". I'm not sure if part of the script is based on Burt Ward's semi contradictory bio, "My life in tights"....but like I said, funny!

I used to have a crush on Burt Ward when I was younger this tainted it forever. He's sicksicksicksick.....etc. But I loved this anyway bashing my childhood or not.
This 2003 made-for-TV movie manages to simultaneously satirize and make sweet love to the 1966 Batman television show, and therein lies both its strength and its weakness. The (nominal) storyline involves actors Adam West and Burt Ward (playing campy versions of themselves) trying to track down the original TV Batmobile, after it's stolen from a charity auction. As in the original show, horrible jokes and ridiculous dialogue are played utterly straight, and both men are clearly enjoying the opportunity to revisit these pivotal roles from their careers. In addition, we see extensive "bio-pic"-style flashback footage of young Adam and Burt (played by other actors) as they audition for the TV series and eventually try to come to grips with their success. These flashback sequences are fascinating (I'd love to see a feature-length Adam West bio-pic based on what we witness here), but they don't jibe with the tone of the other half of the movie, which has the same ultrafrantic energy as the TV show. Return to the Batcave would be far more successful if it picked a single tone (either campy, fun Batman TV show, or amusing semi-dramatic bio-pic) and played the whole film the same way. Flawed, but definitely fun. To the Netflix queue, Robin!
I have a lot of time for the old Batman tv series and movie and thoroughly enjoyed this light, whimsical slice of nostalgia that mixes Adam West and Burt Ward as the pair of old geezers they are today on the trail of a stolen Batmobile with recreations of their days filming the original series - mostly involving bedding gorgeous women, the lucky dogs!
Absolutely awful. Caught this on Sky last year. I had to watch it, and keep watching, but terrible all the same.
this film is a good thing to watch if your a fan of the old Batman show. Or if you love to see Adam West make fun of himself.
