Beach Boys - Nashville Sounds: The Making of Stars and Stripes
In 1996, the Beach Boys (including reclusive leader and songwriter Brian Wilson) headed to Nashville to re-record some of their greatest hits with some of the biggest names in country music, including Willie Nelson, Tammy Wynette, Lorrie Morgan, Rodney Crowell, and many others, to give what Mike Love called "a new life and new personality" to these timeless pop treasures. This video offers an inside look at the sessions that created the band's Stars and Stripes album.
