Critic Reviews

  • Mike Clark, USA Today

Don't blame the leads, but the movie has less emotional resonance than an old FTD florist commercial with Merlin Olsen.

  • Clint Morris, Tsunami Magazine

A very sweet movie, Slater and Masterson encompass real sparks

Masterson's character in this movie is a lot like many women today, lonely and afraid to love. This romantic drama is realistic, but also sweet. I really liked Slater in this movie, if you're a fan you need to see this. Overall, a good romance movie.

This is definitely a chick flick. Career girl (Mary Stuart Masterson) wooed by a young guy (Christian Slater) who has already made his millions and is now enjoying life.

Always a favorite of mine! Mary Stuart Masterson and Christian Slater light up the screen in this loveable romantic story balanced with just a tinge of bittersweet heartache.
