A recent college graduate, Barry B. Benson wants more out of life than the inevitable career that awaits him and every other worker in New Hive City--a job at Honex making honey. Barry jumps at the chance to venture out of the hive, and soon encounters a world beyond his wildest dreams. When Barry inadvertently meets a quirky florist named Vanessa, he breaks one of the cardinal rules of beedom--he talks to her. Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Personally, I think I liked "nothing" better."
‑ Bob Mondello,
"Rock has but two scenes in the film, but he needs a hundred more. Give the man his own movie, please, if only because it'd bee far better than this one."
‑ Robert Wilonsky, Village Voice
"Its moral that even the smallest creature can make a world of difference is one to be appreciated. It is a shame, however, that it could not keep up its energetic and fun pace established within its first act."
‑ Matthew Pejkovic, Matt's Movie Reviews
"Has there ever been an uglier animated feature? The eerie, fever-dream-like faux three-dimensionality, the cyborg-like humanoids, the septic, etiolated colors."
‑ Peter Keough, Boston Phoenix
"...tries mightily to be cute and cuddly, and in this regard it least for kids."
‑ John J. Puccio, Movie Metropolis
"Passes the time, but undoutedly one for the little 'uns."
‑ David Jenkins, Time Out
"This is a beautifully animated, cleverly executed, warm and funny adventure."
‑ Richard Roeper, Ebert & Roeper
"The hyperactive comic randomness is deadening"
‑ Fernando F. Croce, CinePassion
"... may not be "about nothing," but it is not about much more than the puny pun in the title."
‑ Steve Biodrowski, ESplatter
"Seinfeld's pleasingly idiosyncratic comic voice comes through in the haphazard, slaphappy storyline. [Blu-Ray]"
‑ Peter Canavese, Groucho Reviews
"It's impersonal. It doesn't come from anywhere interesting."
‑ David Edelstein, New York Magazine/Vulture
"The movie's more than cute, funny, and (at 81 minutes) brisk enough to move families in and out of the multiplex in mass quantities, like the social insects we are."
‑ Dana Stevens, Slate
"A consistently amusing bit of animated whimsy from funnyman Jerry Seinfeld that has the observational comic's fingerprints all over it."
‑ Mike Scott, Times-Picayune
"A kids movie with a moral, that's rare!..."
‑ Felix Vasquez Jr., Cinema Crazed
"[T]his comedy provides sporadic chuckles but, you'll pardon the expression, drones on for much of its running time."
‑ Alonso Duralde, MSNBC
