A low budget sequel to the quite enjoyable 2001 film starring Gene Hackman. The original is head and shoulders above this. I would watch that or Black Hawk Down again instead of this. Though there are quite a lot of familiar faces in this. Catch it if it's on TV.

This movie was great. I am not really into war movies but this was a pretty good movie.

I was expecting this sequel to suck. Fortunately, i was wrong! I found this movie quite entertaining. the camera di awesome during the war scenes, the actors expertly took their roles to the max quite convincingly, and the storyline was NOT a ripoff from the original but rather ...( read more)

May 21, 2007I'd give it a 1 out of 10, at least just for trying to make the movie look great.
First, their camara shots....it will make your eyes red.
in one scene, they shake the camara to make the scene look urgent, and insanely about 9 mintue straight.
Bad effects, horrible Korean dialogue, no satisfying actions, and the U.S. SEALs looked and acted like an amature picked up in the street.
Watch this movie if you are interested in some facts accurately presented about North Korea.
Other than that, don't.
Watch the first one, if you are going to watch the second one. -
April 7, 2007If I could give it a score, it'll probably be 0. Possibly THE worst movie I watched so far. It has no character development whatsoever. Bad scene clipping and unrealistic acting, coupled with confusing dialogues which made no reference to any relevant aspect of the plotline. (eg: "okay, we've landed here by accident. lets go blow up some north koreans..") With the constant barrage of 'white house fickleminded decision-making', the show (at the very least) earns itself the badge of dreary boring 'realism'. This was reflected by the actual grueling debates that goes on the background of every important international/political decision. However, realism works in both ways, to this movie, it gives a basis to label it as an equivalent to 'watching a bunch of pointless arguement going no where'.
