Eduardo Verastegui and Tammy Blanchard give amazing performances and their chemistry is there 100%. This movie just takes your breath away in every shot. The cinematography is just perfect. It's a very well done independent movie.
A nice, cultural film...albeit confusing. The whole movie i was wondering who Bella was...Still, it was a nice story, once I figured out who she was. There were a few blank spots where it got a bit confusing. All in all, it gets three stars...Just...because.
The plot was very thin, but the slice-of-life details and the actors portrayls made this quite good.
I expect pro-lifers will rhetorically turn this into a 'message movie', but I don't think the filmmakers made this with a specific agenda, and you will not be preached at.
Interesting perspectives shown throughout the film such as "entering" the thoughts of the characters by seeing the flashback that they would be thinking about. Good technically but left a lot to be desired. You leave it feeling like you wanted more and it just didn't give it.
I really liked this movie! It's about a restaurant chef who helps out a co-worker who has an unwanted pregnancy. Without giving away the plot, it is a story of redemption and salvation, and respect for the sanctity of life. In English and Spanish.
