Simple and charming, Belle & Sebastian is not without fault, but still has plenty of lovable traits that come together to form a warm and largely undemanding view.

Look, I know it's full of clichés but it's such a delicate film. It won me over completely. It's so authentic.

Passable family entertainment...Director Nicolas Vanier is a little lazy at times - the film features one of the most unconvincing gunshot wounds in dog movie history - but it hits all the right buttons.

It's nearly impossible to screw up a tale of friendship like this, with "Belle and Sebastian" hitting all the highlights of harmony and valor. Cute dog close-ups help too.
