Sometimes these little foreign affairs come along and win you over with their heart and charm, even if there isn't a whole lot else going for them.

No where near the top of my list of great films, but for an enjoyable, cute story that both man and woman can enjoy, Belle Epoque is near the top.

As crazy as a Spanish film usually is, but the cast is top-notch and the plot is very respectable. One of the finest contemporary romantic tales of foreign cinema, and one of the cuttest as well.

    70/100
