I was 14 when this movie came out and I thought it was so cute. Now that I'm considerably older, my tastes have changed.

All the kids wanted to see this little dog on the big screen in the 70's. But now the little mutt is mostly forgettable. It was a family movie cash-in, like many of the films today.

Come on. Who doesn't like Benji. It's not a great movie but I liked it when I was a child. It is charming and a classic. Benji is one of those classic dog stories right up there with Lassie and the Littlest Hobo. A great film for kids and the family to watch.
