March 16, 2008I am wondering whether or not the way the movie ended whether or not there could be another sequel? Like discovering his mistress was pregnant with his son.

December 28, 2007It's a pretty bad movie. But still fun, since it's finally an "adult" 3D film. The visuals though aren't that great, about 5 seconds looked really awesome, other than that it was an ok cgi film. Besides that the score by Alan Silvestri is awesome and the movie title song is the best since years. Finally a really great old school Hollywood song.

December 11, 2007This movie wasn't my favourite for the year, but it was one of the more unusual. The beginning of the film was slow, but I felt it finished on a high, with the dragon scene. I must also give it thumbs up for using most of the actors real appearences in CGI, which was also well done.

December 3, 2007It's not a truly perfect film, but few films are. In my opinion in succeeded in all the right places--there were many things about it I really liked (now it's a running gag with my friends to say "Chew your food, Prince Grendel") and to me it was very memorable, I had dreams/nightmares for a few nights afterwards.
Everyone's opinion varies, but take this film studen't advice: Go see it! -

November 19, 2007Saw it last night and I was thoroughly disappointed. Sure, the animation was pretty and all, but other than that nothing about this movie was impressive. I've always loved the poem and I hoped that when someone decided to make a movie out of it they'd do it justice. Way to fail, Hollywood.
I'd only recommend this if you've never read the poem or are just interested from a visual stand point. -

But the bits i watched (in between kissing my boyfriend) were suprisingly good. Speshly the Angelina Jolie bits! -
