Chris Penn? haha I'm watchin it.
The best movie about Taekwondo I've ever seen. Great action with some cheesy dialogue/plot!
A Melo-Dramatic Action Flick, That Make's "Brandon Lee" look like "Bruce Lee."
i saw this in school one day and this was not my favorite movie, i really hated because of all the violence and curisng, it's not a good movie to watch
bought this for my dad on fathers day, so im sure it sucks... also its called BEST OF THE BEST
I kind of remembered this, but not really. I enjoyed it though, 5 guys chosen for the American Karate Team to face off against the Korean Team. Chris Penn is hilarious, I always liked him as an actor. Eric Roberts rules this movie, his long hair is so bad ass. I liked how it ende...( read more)
one of my favourite karate competition films.
with very interesting characters
and a backstory... not deep but enough for its purpose
Great 1980s who's-the-toughest type kung fu movie staring James Earl Jones and Eric Roberts.
just basing this is who is in the movie....I might want to see it.
A solid picture, to be sure. However, I prefer the second, as it is a straight-ahead bad action movie, whereas this one aspires to be an inspirational sports film, all about the importance of teamwork, competition, yadda yadda... The performances from Penn and Roberts are passabl...( read more)

Great movie. The Martial arts performed by the actors are awesome. The last scene will not leave you with dry eyes. A favorite of mine.
Julia Robert's look-alike big brother starred in this movie about a US Karate team.
Was a cool movie when i was 14. Watched it at 24, its already ugly =). Comment from a blackbelt.
Review will be written when/if re-watched (Probability: Zero).

It's not the best story but when I was younger I liked this one very much; and I still do
Philip Rhee is such a joy to watch. He really is an awesome TKD master. I'm corny and got all teary eyed at the end, although I've seen this movie like 4 or 5 times.
One of the best mindless martial arts movies I've ever seen. Everyone was awesome in this. Eric Roberts was a badass at the end where he kept going even though he was hurt.
Phillip Rhee is phenomenal and never made it to stardom for some reason.
Great man flick! Every guy should ...( read more)
Eric Roberts and Phillip Rhee should have won Oscars. Sean Penn's fat brother is great as the b.a. cowboy. Who knew that James Earl Jones could pass as a karate expert? This film is amazing and heart-warming. Check it out tonight.
Good Martial Arts Drama, more than simply fighting this movie attempts to show deeper aspects of the True Spirit of the Arts in a moderncontext !
i loved dis movie, the fight scenes in da competition at the ending of the movie were awesome...
