Marcel and Kyle are in love at first sight, and even though they can't legally marry, they will find a way to make it work. French Marcel marries their lesbian friend Sarah so he can stay in the USA with Kyle. Together they can overcome any obstacle, hurdle any barrier. Together they cannot be stopped. Enter Kyle's sister April, a former prostitute. She needs a place to crash, but for how long? Taking a quick dislike to Marcel, April methodically drips poison into their happiness. But where Marcel sees a conniving woman with a not-so-hidden agenda, Kyle only sees his sister - in need. And how do you choose between family and the love of your life? Why should you have to? Love isn't pure after it's been tainted. Our perfect couple falls headlong into possessiveness, jealousy and rage; trapped in the tangled emotions found in that space between love and goodbye. Just how far will one of them go to put a stop to the madness?

    This movie's title should be Between Love & Hate not Between Love & Goodbye. I'm overall, quite disappointed in it. The plethora of the characters are just of such an alien nature, inhuman and obnoxious that they only create the image that they were created to be ha...( read more)ted by the viewers.

    The film starts with a promising tone, but everything -from the performances to the script to the ending- just get out of control less than halfway into it. The performances are not believable to the tiniest bit and the character development is ridiculous. How can you like a movie when you despise the characters portrayed in it? And the ending is the cherry on the cake. Completely unreal, completely non-dramatic. Certain elements such as the sex scenes and the music are excellent, but not enough to sustain the movie.

    To sum up, an indie wannabe dealing with hatred, love, obsession, sacrifice and a bunch of disliked starring actors.

    I like this movie. The start of it was kinda high school but toward the end i sat up and really got into the movie. I love his french acsecnt. I also like the short film they have on the DVD as a extra. It was funny and cute

    This movie started well. It has a great couple. But a sibling of one of them comes in a ruins everything. Honestly she/he was just one of those characters that is made to be hated. And I did hate them. They caused everything to spiral out of control. This movie made me very mad, ...( read more)to the point I was actually cursing at the screen. The ending I so desperately wanted to be happy. Even if that was a predictable way of ending it, I wanted it. I almost got it. Just as things looked as they might change for the good, it ended tragically.

    I gave it three stars because the acting was mediocre, the characters however got to me. Although I HATED many of them, the point is they made me feel a strong emotion and if a movie can make me feel a strong emotion thats a good thing (even if that emotion is hatred and anger). The music was kinda campy and I liked some of it but one song especially was really dumb, including the words "Born Loser". So there was a lot of this movie that was annoying or dumb but in the end its not your traditional story. It doenst follow the expected storyline. And for that it gets appreciation from me - even if I did want to physically beat some of the characters.
