it's a good documentary about the pro wrestling. I was amazed to see what had become of Jake Roberts

Shows the tragedy of the business on many levels. This guys really put a ton on the line just to entertain a bunch of rabid fans. Foley, Funk, and Roberts are all legends, and this cements their story.

I saw this at the very end of my wrestling phase, and it was very real and good. Probably not interesting if you are not a wrestling fan, however.

Gives a great look at the backstage aspect of wrestling, it doesn't attempt to make wrestling look real. These guys do not get enough respect as athletes, they work almost every night and their bodies ache constantly because they want to entertain us to the fullest. Yes, I know that wrestling is fake, I still enjoy it though because it's pure entertainment, so fuck off. Some moments are cringe worthy, especially Mick Foley getting beaten in front of his children. It's also pretty touching at times, an example is the reunion between Jake The Snake Roberts and his daughter. This doc is pretty poignant, it doesn't whitewash at all.

Somewhat disappointing doc has some true moments of greatness, mostly when focusing on Mick Foley (Mankind), but much of this unfocused mess tends to sidetrack a bit too often. Still, some great moments make it worth a look if you have any interest in wrestling.
