Big Apple: A Comedy That Kills
A geek becomes a hero and learns the ways of wooing women in this off-the-wall comedy from filmmaker Danny Lerner, who also stars. Lerner is Max, a New York City ne'er-do-well who finds his life permanently changed while the city is paralyzed with fear following a string of murders. Max first makes the acquaintance of a ladies' man named Angel who schools him the ways of cool, and before long he's saving the city from the menacing serial killer. Big Apple won the Best Picture prize at the New York International Independent Film Festival.
