Oswalt gives good work here in a kind of familiar story we have seen before, but with a bravura ending. However, even though I thought the unexpected climax was near brilliance, it kind of turns most of the film into more a prank than a statement.

I think people will appreciate the ups and downs of this movie. Kevin Corrigan had such a great best friend quality about em'. I'm also a big fan of Michael Rapaport I'm glad to see him in a movie again. The tone of this movie is great also. And that concludes my report.

the best part of this movie is Patton Oswalt's acting. He makes it good and worth viewing. Remove him and i think you might be left with a film of sub-mediocrity

A less sentimental and more unpredictable version of The Wrestler, axing most of that film's script flaws but keeping the fantastic ensemble.
It will be sad for some and darkly funny for others, plus don't forget a great homage to Taxi Driver towards the end. -
