Having been in trouble with the law many times throughout his life, Eddie Burton (Casper Van Dien) realizes that he could be risking what matters most in his life - his relationship with his young son...( read more  read more... ) Will. As part of a prison work release program, Eddie finds himself at a horse farm and sees it as an outlet to his problems. When a former world-class racehorse named Big Spender arrives at the farm, Eddies new life goes into a dramatic spiral. Big Spender has since become the victim of an abusive owner once he stopped winning races. In fact, he has been left for dead and has lost the drive to live, much less win any race. Now it is Eddie's responsibility to nurse the horse back to good health and hopefully turn him into the champion he once was. In the process, a rather unlikely and loving relationship between man and horse is born. Based on a true story.

    Has to Qualify in my books as a shiny moment. See I guess when I was created by the embryo makers they had a few spare genes rattling around the shop to throw into the mix. They added Jellyfish (hense the night time luminescence), a bit of squirell (I like foraging for nuts), som...( read more)e orca (I like my tongue being scratched and I sound awful underwater), a touch of dingo (I love babies but I can't eat a whole one), drop of pick and mix blend( everything from nemo to dumbo to Dahmer) and just a splash of crow ( I get dazzled by the shiny).

    And I guess that the shininess of Big Spender severely distracted me from that it is a chessy film with bad acting and direction. The plot is dull and a bit lank and it stinks of Hallmark, but nether the less i watched it and I sort of liked it to the degre of a decent side of 2 stars.

    But its strictly back to zombies, ghost and all kind of wrongness from now on and I don't just mean in the films.
