Great movie with a timing issue. This was supposed to come out right around Sept. 11 20001. The bomb on the plane bit kiboshed that. Terrific cast. This should have done much bette.

this movie is about as worthwhile as a handful of Lindsey Lohan's shit. While I guess you could say that it belongs to a qualified entertainer, at the end of the day, it's still shit.

One of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Would recommend to anyone who likes Dave Barry or Tim Allen.

Sporadic bits of humor can?t quite sustain the momentum of the film. It?s not awful, but it doesn?t stand out in any way. The cast is good but they lack enthusiasm. Bland, not funny enough.

Critic Reviews
Based on a novel by Miami Herald columnist Dave Barry, but has none of the writer's trademark wit. full review
It's the kind of movie you can't quite recommend because it is all windup and not much of a pitch, yet you can't bring yourself to dislike it. full review
Manages to emerge winningly as an entertaining experience. full review
The big problem with Big Trouble, despite a fine cast and director, is that the damn thing isn't funny. full review
