Tapped by maverick coffee mogul Calvert James (James Brolin) to inspect a crucial crop of Thai coffee beans, Brian Chandler (Kip Pardue) arrives in Bangkok, and meets his contact Ticha (Mamee Nakprasit). On their way back to Ticha's southern Thailand farm, the combative pair sense a spark that is quickly recognized by Ticha's friends Werner (Spencer Garrett) and Mook (Kalorin Nemayothin). Meanwhile, as Brian fights to reconcile his growing attraction to Ticha against his devotion to his fiancĂ (C)e Amanda (Laura Sorenson), Calvert shows up unannounced and cancels the deal. The community in an uproar, Brian is once again caught off guard when Amanda arrives in Thailand to start planning the wedding.
