I read the book in junior high and I saw the movie later on. It's still one of the saddest books I've ever read despite there being a happy ending, and the film (1994 version) pretty much matches my sentiments towards the book.
I love Black Beauty. It's a sad film but also a feel-good one for the whole family. I love it!
This is an incredible, sad, beautiful, emotionally-charged movie. I cry every time I see it. I think it really describes what every human goes through in their lifetime. Rejection, pain, loss, love, heartbreak and always joy. The fact that the star and subject is a horse makes it all the more stunning because animals are so innocent. I think it is most definitely worth watching.
It's a poor remake from the oft-filmed and produced version of the Anna Sewell classic. The 1971 film rarely strays from its source and is a lot better then this one, because the story is a lot different from it's original.
This movie is amazingly realistic , sad at some parts but It's one of my favorite movies. I recomend this movie to everyone but especially all animal and horse lovers.
this is a really good movie and its different of anothers movies because it showed the life of a horse and im sure that when you finish to see the movie u are going to cry or have another vision of the animals. please watch the movie you arent going to repent of it. all the pretty horses.
