Oh wow! I thought I had already rated this before. Hmmm.....this is definitely one of interest about a boy who struggles with the indifference of leaving childhood, entering adulthood. The story plot follows his pursuits of dealing with just about everything life tosses at him. Family. Friends. Desires. Choices and decisions. A must-see. Great cast!

This is an intensely realistic examination of a fragile Irish Catholic family striving to makes sense of a world that is increasingly chaotic. It carves a new benchmark in the coming-of-age genre, because it's so much more than that.

Well acted and very "realistic" storyline. This probably hit home with a lot of people. Not me, but plenty of others for sure.
