Rajan Mathur, a professor in Urdu literature in Dr. Zakir Hussain College, resides in Chandni Chowk with his activist wife Roma Mathur. Prof. Mathur happens to meet a young boy, Numair Qazi, who intro...( read more  read more... )duces himself as a victim of communal riots in Gujarat, but is actually a suicide bomber commissioned by a Muslim fundamentalist group to blast a bomb near Red Fort on 15th August. During his roller coaster journey for 15 days to go for the blast-day, Numair manages to take shelter in Professor's house and wins the trust and fondness of the couple very soon. While helping Numair to get an employment and entry pass for 15th August celebrations at Red Fort, Prof. Mathur introduces him to the warm and loving people of Chandni Chowk who co-exist with love irrespective of their religions and minor differences. What astonishes Numair are the various multi-colour characters he comes across in Chandni Chowk. But, Numair has one focus in mind and a tough struggle ahead to achieve his mission to blast on a dotted date and time. During this process, he gets caught in an emotional dilemma that questions his deep-rooted beliefs in fundamentalism.

The effort is fine, but Subhash has done way better than this. The movie seemed connected where it tried to remove the stereotypes and caste differences, nothing beyond that.

Just an all right average movie. Again, the topic is about terrorists. This time, we meet two guys who have completely different thoughts about solving the Muslim-Hindu conflicts in India.
