Visually, more engaging then the first, same for the story. The stakes feel higher and there's a palptable sense of dread, alot of that this has to do with Del Torro's genius creature designs.
Del Toro having fun? Probably... or he was just being lazy. He does everything in his power in order to surpass the original and, despite the fact that he almost achieved such goal, it is not a complete letdown. It shouldn't be considered among the best vampire films of the decad...( read more)

The best movie of the trilogy, The little dialogue Blade and Ron Perlman's vampire character have are too few but absolutely fun to watch. Maybe the most gruesome of the three movies, but definitely the best script. Blade's final fight with the baddie worth the price of admission.
I saw Blade Trinity which I didn't enjoy then I thought I wouldn't enjoy this but I did.
Well I really shouldn't compare this to Blade:Trinity this film as everything which Blade:Trinity doesn't have it as good acting,a good script and some really good action performances.

Not as bad as i thought after re-watching, but not as original as the first but at least Ryan Reynolds isnt in it.
Blade number 2 is even better than the first one, but I suppose it has to be otherwise it wouldn't attract many people's attention to watch it. I think that Blade is one of the best action, vampire movies I have ever seen.
Wesley Snipes wants to pile-drive all you bad vampires. A nonsensical second edition which is good for a watch for the Snipes Fu.
