What a great movie. iloved every min of it. it was the best movie i have seen in along time. you'll never be bored with this movie.
i heard that this movie is too sweet. i will deffinitely watch it for my self. but fans , is it true that the movie was shoot in Africa?
First and for most I have to start off by saying that this is by far one of the most meaningful and incredible movies I have ever seen. It sends such a deep message and a big awakening to people(at least it should). This movie really made me think a lot about the world and how people are, it's rather disgusting! But on the plus side the acting was unbelieveable and evryone did such an incredible job. And mmm Leo was looking damn good! I hope more and more people get the chance to see this movie because it's important to know things about the world and be aware of issues like this! Think before you buy diamonds please! Think of who's life may have been put in danger the next time you want your stupid "bling bling" people!
omg this has 2 be one of my favourite movies...AWSUM is all i gota say!
leo you are a best man in my life I love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
It indeed bloody, an most of all my best actor Leo is in this movie. Am sure it is a lesson to us all. The heart of man is bad.
This film was amazing...In my opinion Djimon Hounsou was by far the best actor in the film, with Leo a close second, the emotional scenes with Djimon feel so real and make you think about the effects on the war, it does get a bit "hollywoody" with Leo dodging bullets taking out lots of soliders but hey...who cares it was a good movie...
If anyone is interesting in being politically active with the conflict diamonds issue, Oxfam International is a fantastic NGO that has a wealth of information on the topic. Here's an article: http://www.oxfam.org/en/news/pressreleases2002/pr020318_diamonds_english.htm
i absolutely loved this movie....Leo is a complete stud with a verrry sexy accent...yum!
anyone know of if there are any documentarys about conflict diamonds? I think there should be one make ppl think before buying them.
This movie had a strong messeage and it is a message that should make everyone think about and that everyone should be aware of and if we all stood up to do someting sboutr these issues then yes maybe the world will become a better place to live. stop getting child soldiers and stop make people slave over diamonds its a serious issue that needs to be adressed
this looks so good!!! leo has such a good accent... im gonna have to see this coz it looks so deep... real deep
"Amnesty International USA is proud to announce its support of the Warner Bros film Blood Diamond, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Connelly and Djimon Hounsou. Set during the civil war in Sierra Leone in the 1990's, the story addresses the issues of conflict diamonds and child soldiers."
I didn't care too much about this movie until I got an e-mail from Amnesty International. Now I'm interested.
