Hey, guys, are you out of your mind? This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen! I love both games but this movie is a lot of crap! I've even heard that this movie got some kind of reward for worst directing. Why are you so excited with a sex scene there?! In games Rayne was truly sexy, but this scene make her image so vulgar. That was not even a beautiful presentation, that was just oriented for retarded youngsters, who are eager to see tits on the screen.
Then, as for changes in the plot. OK, I don't pretend that the movie should have been shot based on game's plot only, with no changes. But. To my mind, the movie completely twisted BloodRayne's image. All this love storylines don't match the original idea. Treachery, revenge are all right, but not love. I tjink to enjoy this movie you have to have a love of blood, Gore and it might help to have played the game. I think Uwe Ball is a unique director and recommend people to watch his other movies llike Alone in the Dark.

LOVE THE MOVIE! I haven't played the game, but the blood, gore and well based storyline are excellent. My fav Actress Kristanna Loken, actually cut her hair and everything to look like the real Rayne. I know it's personal opinion, but trust me, this movie is worth it for a vampire flick. I would love to play the game, but to everyone who hated this, let me just say it may be based on the video game, but that doesn't mean it follows the entire plot. I mean you would have to change stuff around. Recommend seeing this though, to any vampire fans.
To jbpelican; Kristanna's gone naked before in TV's Curse Of The Ring and Terminator three, i agree though that most likely only fans of the game would absolutely love it, but it's five stars for me.posted 688 days ago -
I'll level with you, this movie WAS badly choreographed, WAS rushed through a reletively shit stoy line and probably WONT be remembered. BUT it is worth watching for fans of the game, vampire movies (id rather join Underworlds werewolf clan myself) or anyone not looking to pay to much attention and would like to be suprised by a Hollywood stars realistic sex scene. I would not have expected Kristanna Lokken to get her norks out, but its great that she did.

I havent seen it yet, but I dont think alot of people realize its based on the game! Which i mean if you've seen the game and are a fan (like myself!) you'll undertsand the need for blood. Otherwise...... GO PLAY THE GAME! IT WONT MAKE AS MUCH SENSE OTHERWISE!I mean cmon, whats a vampire without blood lust?!

storys been done before,the acting is crap.even the fight scenes are badly done, think they tried to cover this up with loads of blood.
