    really good.

I believe this sequal was a lot better in terms of the battles. The acting when they weren't fighting was a little more horrible, too. Very hard to get into the movie. The characters had no emotion. Unlike Van Damme who can show a lot of emotion in a scene, Bernhardt tries too ha...( read more)rd to be like him. It comes off as C Rated. That also goes for the head fighter, Demon. Another copycat, but this time in Bolo. Somehow they made this guy out to be like a brick wall. He was a very unconvincing character. What's even worse is when I saw him in the Van Damme movie, The Quest, as a fighter representing China. He gets taken out in the first round like a novice. A movie that was released a month after this one. But, other than that, the various new opponents had a lot more moves to show for.

This movie is kind of like what 'Road House 2: Last Call' was to the first. It's like a cross between the original and 1994's Mortal Kombat, which came out around the same time as this. Alot of references to the original, and some decent fights. Donald Gibb (Ray Jackson from the ...( read more)original) also makes a cameo. Fun if you're a big fan of the first one, if not, this might be an enjoyable late-night drunken bad DTV romp with some Doritos.
