Plot: A female rookie in the police force engages in a cat and mouse game with a pistol wielding psychopath who becomes obsessed with her.
One of the first American movies I watched back when I first came to the states. It was suspenseful, and it was memorable.
cop movie with strange twist a guy falls for a female rookie and sets her up to be at fault for some shootings and I want ruin the end good movie
Jamie Lee Curtis (Carpenter films aside): poor. Ron Silver: poor. Kathryn "Point Break" Bigelow: oh, so very poor. Not a recipe for success.
This is a movie that is still awesome. A rookie cop deals with a psychotic killer. A great cast with a lot of great scenes.
Forgettable thriller which leaves the otherwise splendid actress Jamie Lee Curtis just..thrown to the sharks with this improbable story where the heroine makes plain ridiculous decisions.
It just has to be said: Kathryn Bigelow is a guarantee for intelligent, psychological and exciting action cinema. Great film.
some really great moments, a great opening sequence, a good performance by jamie lee curtis, not much else, but well worth a watch, not bad
