    Better than I was expecting, this is a faced paced and never boring film with an unrealistic but interesting plot.

    Action packed, sometimes funny film with let down by some huge, unmistakable cliches which are normally packaged with this sort of film.

    The black anti-hero: C...( read more)heck
    The ridiculous sitiuation: Check
    The chalk and cheese friendship: Check
    The big all out action finale: Check

    But despite these, it still manages to entertain because it is all that we expect and, although we may hate to admit it, it is all we really want from this sort of comedy.

    Easy to follow, acted with great timing by Martin Lawrence, some other above average performances. As it turns out, it isn't all that bad.

    So if you want a typical action/comedy and a good old fasioned guilty pleasure, then look no furthur than this.

    meeting Dave Chappelle at the premier of this before he was famous but having already developed a flair for his comedy style made this movie all the much better.

    I surprisingly enjoyed this film... actually, when I think about it, it's not that surprising. The main thing I enjoyed about the movie was how the dialogue spelled out where the plot was going and kept stretching out this...( read more) idea of a crook impersonating a cop and taking it as far as Mexico.

    "Blue Streak" is an enjoyable film that stars one of the funniest comedians in the business, Martin Lawrence. Lawrence is teamed with Luke Wilson as they take on the bad guys using humor.

    From the very beginning, I knew that "Blue Streak" would be funny and interesting. The o...( read more)nly requirement was to sit back and relax so the movie can carry me through. The story was quite unique having a thief pretend to be a police detective determined to collect a jewel left behind from a previous heist.

    To make the plot better and more interesting the writers make Lawrence's character in charge of the burglary division. Wilson didn't really add to the story and seemed to fill a role of sidekick. It was a pleasure to see William Forsythe in a role that did not have playing a villain. Overall, "Blue Streak" worked for me.
