Anne Smythe, a single mom with two kids, is spinning out of control trying to balance a high maintenance French boyfriend, a stressful job and unruly, bratty, pre-pubescent kids. A desperate Anne, in dire need of assistance, stumbles across one of Bob's old babysitting flyers and calls. Much to their delight, the kids find Bob to be a real pushover and convince their Mom to hire him fulltime. Anne is pleased when she learns Bob has attended Butler School and assumes she has found a trained professional to look after the kids, cook and clean. After fooling Anne into believing Bob is the calm, collected individual she's needed, hi-jinks ensue. One catastrophe after another, finally gets Bob fired, but not before he helps the kids through multiple crises! Ultimately realizing this, Anne begs Bob to rejoin the family and quickly their romance blossoms.

    Not the most funny nor interesting movie I've seen. Brook Shields plays an OCD mom of two little kids and Tom Green plays a lame butler who works for Shields. I continue to be un-impressed with Tom Green. So, if it is free and you have time to kill, this is a good choice.

    This was an interesting movie. I found it mildly entertaining. The dorkiness is that of Adam Sandler. Why does Sandler get so much flack for more family oriented hilarity and Tom Green doesn't.     What the hell? The once outrageous and over-the-top funny (at least I thought he was) Tom Green in a family comedy? How did that happen? Anyways "Bob The Butler" has the basic 'family comedy' plot: Bob (Tom Green) is hired to take care of the two kids of a very busy business mom ...( read more)(Brooke Shields). The kids don't like Bob but later bond with him. It has been done over and over again. And like always when to movie comes to an end it's all this 'lovey dovey' crap. There is one thing that saves the movie from being a total flop and that is the dinner scene with the pig, but really see "Freddy Got Fingred" instead of this.

    this is a heaps funny movie all thanx 2 Tom Green since he is the funniest man on earth!!! anyway i rated it 5 stars because this is the only Tom Green movie i could watch with my family
