Too much CGI. Tons of wide-angle lenses. Lots of mannerisms. Two hundred plot twists. No character development whatsoever (not that anyone cares). And some of the most stunning horror shots you'll get to see out there.

    Excess at its best!

although the main plot of the story was very common to suspense films(i mean about multi-personality disorder) the director of this film really knew how to make you jump out of your seats. Every scenes are unpredictable and the musical scoring was great! The way the story was del...( read more)ivered to the audience was a success and in the end you'll see that it was not a movie that will make you remember all the blood and the gore but it will make you think even deeper about how things can be so twisted if insanity starts to control you.....

Body #19 is an interesting Thai Horror Movie with pretty stunning visuals. There are several pretty stunning scenes, most surrounding the central long haired female ghost, but compared with other Asian horror movies of that kind they propped up the scare scenes with loads ...( read more)of great visual effects. Scenes like when the ghost appears in the museum with hundreds of butterflies or the finale sure are eye candy. The whole cinematography of the movie is great. The movie revolves around a guy who lives with his sister and starts having strange dreams about a woman being murdered and her ghost haunting him to find her body. From here a very slow unfolding of the story begins which inter-cuts between several characters that are brought together in the end with a twist that to me seemed pretty forced. At least I have seen the Multipersonlity-Disorder twist done way better in other movies while here many loose ends are not connected but typically for Thai movies mixed with a pretty cheesy love-story and even cheesier music. The whole thing starts really promising, then gets a little hard to watch for its endless lag in playing time and in the end turns out to be a rather messy mix of nice ideas that just don't fit. There is ghost scares, not too little blood, great CGI effects and loads of drama and psychology mixed in. Some of the scenes could have become classics if the movie wasn't so stretched and disjointed. Anyway, if you are into great visuals Body #19 still is worth watching.

Best graphic in all Thai's horror movie. Good twist and story plot. A very hollywood way of effect in the whole movie. Must watch to believe the great effect of this movie.

The third movie after Shutter & Alone. But this one is directed by another director i heard.

So this movie's based on Medical things mostly. The actor is a Medical student, you have Doctors here & thr too plus a psychiatrist. So its like evrything revolving around Medical.

...( read more)As normal as the movies go, it's always been a twist in the end right? Same goes for this one here. It starts with telling us all about this young man from a college or medical school experiencing "ghostly" incidents at home. After having a bad dream abt a woman being chopped into pieces, he was forced to consult a psychiatrist by a Doctor.

The ghost that's appearing is somewhat ghoulish, and very much dirty & ugly in appearance. But it's good enough to scare you away like as if you want to cover yourself under the blanket wishing that it'll go away. It's some sort decomposed too *yucks*

Okay so in the end, what happens is the guy whom we've been watching for like 1 hour 40 minutes or 2 hours plus, is not really the one whom we thought he is. He's a medical student right? But actually it's someone else assuming that he is this young man here. And the real person is the one committing all the crimes.

4 and a-half from me. It'd be better if they don't make the twisting too complicating. You'll get what I mean after watching it.
