...generally comes off as a better-than-expected and refreshingly brutal little horror flick.

  • Steve "Uncle Creepy" Barton, Dread Central

The storyline plays something like a cross between A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and Bad Dreams only without even a tenth of the imagination.

A whole lot gorier than the first one. I love how the beloved PG-13 gets tossed in the dumpster once the letters "DTV" are brought up.

Sequel to Boogeyman, this is a poor attempt at delivering a good, horrifying and fun experience. This is a horrible film, and considering that the first was a good, underrated flick, you'd understand why this one might be bad. I felt that whatever made the first film watchable… More

Other than a 10 second reference to the first one it bares no other similarities, lucky for it. It's nothing great but it does have a few well done bloody moments and it's plot devices harken back to the 80's.
