This movie blows, and is a terrible horror movie. lt relies on loud noises and BOO!s to scare you. Piece of shit, 7th Heaven ass hole. Fuck this movie.
Awkward dialogue, stupid characters and not very scary. The ending was even worse because they actually showed the "boogeyman". Fear of the unknown is much more effective.
All style and absolutely zero substance. Scary images flash on the screen at 200mph, but they're usually irrelevant to the storyline. Awful special effects, the only real redeeming factors is the sexy lead and some mildly scary scenes.
An effectively creepy and chilling movie that unfortunately loses its touch about two thirds in and tries to explain the Boogeyman phenomenon. The movie works better when we don't know if it's all just in the mind of the characters that are scared of this one imaginary monster.
I kind of figured the way to confront and fight the antagonist wouldn't make sense. And even though (at first) the sight of the boogeyman is kind of neat, they probably shouldn't have shown very much of him in order to preserve the fear of the unknown.
Lacking plot, lacking sense, lacking style, lacking scares. It is a cheap movie that only relies on the loud noises to TRY to induce jumping and scares.

Good movie... Good story, good acting and good scenery. The best thing I liked seeing was that this movie didn't have to resort to all the blood and gore that most horror movies seem to have just to be scary. So pop that DVD in, get the kids out of the room, turn off the lights, and just enjoy the movie for what it tries to do, give you a thrill. I like it.
The beginning was good but the rest is really bad. I mean when you dont saw this movie I have a recommendation don?t do it spend your time for anything else.
Seventh Heaven horror... Not too bad of a plot, and the time travel through the boogeyman portals was interesting. Just didn't like the actors all that much.
was not infact "the scariest movie ever" but it certainly shocked me -like it wasn't SCARY but random things kept happening at the most unpredictable times so i had like 10 heart attacks in the span of 1 hr and 15 minutes!!! lol, loved the fact it was set in NZ!!! (my home!!!!) with the cool NZ peepz....AWESOME!
