  well this movie was a TOTAL BUST!!!! Had it not been for Gary Oldman's performance,i would have told the movie rental place to pitch this one. Gary totally carries the movie on his shoulders untill he dies and then the rest of the cast does a terrible job with the rest of it cept the little girl did a fair job acting as an animalistic child.Please someone give Gary a part that actually fits him!And not a second rat B movie such as this one!!! He deserves GOOD parts in GOOD movies that when u mention them 2 people they don't say "huh? whats that?", because unlike many aspiring so-called actors today, he can actually "act" .

  The Backwoods will keep your interest but don't expect typical role for Gary Oldman for he has a heavy British/Irish accent in addition to his Spanish speaking in this movie. A story about 2 couples on vacation in small strange Spanish town with strange people. The couples end up staying at a renovated house surrounded by woods. You can then watch and see what happens. Some surprising scenes in the movie with the ending being a bit somewhat unpredictable but it wasn't hard to draw your own conclusion as to what happened at the end.
