From Tokyo to Washington and as far away as Caracas, Botero's work has been exhibited in over seventy one-man shows in museum's across the globe. Some of Botero's best-known sculptures have been displayed in such prominent places as Park Avenue in New York (1993), Champs-Elysées in Paris (1992), and the center of Berlin (2007). In 2005, Botero ventured into previously unexplored territory by creating a vivid new work cycle concerning the atrocities committed in the Iraqi prison in Abu Ghraib. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
