This gets 3stars purely for the look alone, its goth, dark and sexy. The acting is dodgy to say the least, Oldman is good and is pretty much the best thing in the film but the cheese factor is high and we all know of Reeves accent. The film is very faithful to the story its just ...( read more)
The best parts of this movie were the wonderful score and the stylistic/special effects elements. It wasn't particularly well-cast or well-acted except for possibly Gary Oldman as the eponymous Dracula. He's always been a good character actor though.
I'm planning on reading the book, but i did happen to read another book called Bloodline (the author's name escapes me) but the book was like a continue or sequel to Dracula. I find this movie pretty awesome!
