A lot of people thought it was a bad translation from book to screen, but I thought this film was actually pretty well done for what it was. Remember seeing it on TV over 10 years ago, and after a recent repeat viewing a couple weeks back still think it's pretty decent... Heard s...( read more)ome news that Leonardo DiCaprio is going to be doing a film version of "Brave New World" with director Ridley Scott that is in the works! Here is the link on the news of that. Should be the film version of the book that fans have been waiting for and will be very anxious to see. :)

If you want to see this movie and you haven't read the book yet I strongly recommend that you watch the movie first. If you have read the book you maybe a tad disappointed or may just enjoy it for what it is. Me I thought it was decent movie, however,it failed to grasp the true co...( read more)mplexity and emotion that you got from the book.

Book was a masterpiece, hope to see the film and enjoy it just as much although i doubt i will, but atleast feel satisfied with the great novels film adaptation.

This movie adaptation was BAD. The impact and tone of the novel were totally lost on the big screen. I hated how the plot was changed drastically and the "creative license" the director used. I DO NOT recommend this film as a substitute to the book in any way.
