I expected a garden-shed massacre, not a movie-of-the-week with a mystery so weak Angela Lansbury could have had it all sewn up, with time for tea and crumpets, in less than an hour. Not even Jeffrey Combs could save this middling misfire. Truly leaves me yearning for the bygone gory glories of such fare as 'The Love Butcher' and 'The Mutilator.'
Standard slasher fluff that only stands out because of Michael Berryman and Jeffrey Combs. Not bad, but not especially great either. Check it out if you're a fan of the genre or the actors, but otherwise there's not much to see.
I think this is the worst movie I have ever seen. It's like a really bad pornmovie script with a lot of chainsaws and blond stupid girls.
Complete and utter pants!!! If you have 90minutes of your life you want to waste then watch this. Words cannot describe just how bad this film is, it has to be seen to be believed
Brutal? Utter bollocks more like! Truly the worst horror/thriller film ever. The tag line says it's a cross between Silence of the lambs and Hostel. Whoever the IDIOT was who said that needs to give up writing movie tag lines and never venture into a cinema again...tosser! NOT scary, NOT thrilling, NOT gory, NOT good! Dont waste 90 minutes of your life...I beg you!
This movie is "Brutal"ly terrible (Sorry, I had to include the title there). Claiming it's "Hostel" meets "The Silence of the Lambs," this is a gross overstatement. Maybe it took all the scenes that never made the movie or something, but don't compare it to these horror classics (well, "Hostel" isn't a classic, but this movie makes "Hostel" look almost decent).
Some good acting but the killer is given away and the film is not creepy enough for that. Plus some of the diologue is laughable at times. It was okay. Has a very low budget look.
The title of this movie defines the performances of the actors and the movie as a whole. An alrigh script and storyline, yet, very poorly acted and directed. Definitely NOT worth a watch!
This board looks lonely. Be the first to talk about "Brutal (2007)" !
