Filmmaker Turk Pipkin and The Nobelity Project agree to help build the first high school for a remote African community. The scope of the project is to include the award-winning RainWater Court, classroom buildings, science and computer labs, and a library. Chronicling the challenges of constructing Mahiga Hope High, we observe how the American and Kenyan communities come together to create a better future for the children of Africa.

Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"It's hard to know if Building Hope should be evaluated as a traditional documentary or as a nonprofit promotional tool. What I do know is this: If you don't well up at least once during this unwaveringly uplifting story, you might be a little dead inside"
‑ Kimberley Jones, Austin Chronicle
