July 7, 2009A fantastic performance from Warren Beatty in this tiular role - as well as solid direction - of this sharp and funny political satire, ably supported by a fine supporting cast, including Halle Berry, Oliver Platt and Don Cheadle. One of the better films of 1998.

August 30, 2008It's been a long time since I've seen this, but I do remember that I enjoyed it. My only criticism is that it is one of many films Mr. Beatty both directed and starred in that I think would have been better if he'd stayed behind the lens. He is a much better director.
