One of the most realistic and grounded animes I've ever seen (it's in my top 5 of all time greatest anime movies), it chronicles the life of a boy who an never get over his first love and how that makes him cold and distant toward everyone else. It was created by Makoto Shinkai, ...( read more)

Slow-moving, drawn out and so beautiful in so many ways. It's a haunting movie about love and loss.

It's a great animated movie, the art is amazing and the depth of the story itself is awe inspiring.

November 11, 2008One of the best animated films I have ever seen. On par with Hayao Miyazaki. Kinda reminded me of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time but much more heartbreaking. I still haven't recovered after watching this film and you'll see why after you watch it. Beautiful animation, landscapes, and characters. Nicely told story, poetic. Very realistic. Very Memorable. Also, the theme song fits the movie perfectly (One More Time, One More Chance by Yamazaki Masayoshi). One of those movies that stays in your mind for days.
