This story tell us what comes around goes around. Revenge is never too late and truth always prevail.

Aaron Kwok's performance is really good, especially almost ending and when he was shocked by the picture. It earns him another Golden Horse nod after his record breaking back-...( read more)to-back winning history of Divergence and After This Our Exile. He got another nod for HK Film Awards too.

Pang Brothers' film always have something to do with mystery, thriller and gothic.

I respect Liu Kai Chi's performance. He is so real and natural.

Also nominated for Golden Horse Best Art Direction and another 6 nods of HK Film Awards.

A unique thriller that is worth watching to the end. The film seems confusing at first but as the main character discovers more, so does the audience. By the time the ending comes, the audience would be in awe. The best part of the film has to be the ending. Great noir murder mystery. Very tight - from the directing to the acting to the cinematography... even the story is wrapped up nicely. The pacing was nice and it held my interest start to finish. My only complaint might be that it was a bit too long, but that would be nitpicking....( read more)

This is truly a great flick... not much else to say.

Well, since the plot is empty - It's about a private detective who starts investigating a case where a man thinks a woman is trying to kill him... his investigation turns up a series of corpses and scoldings from local police... his only clue is a single burned photograph...
