I think this was nice...
Caffeine is sort of a cross between Friends and Waiting, only not as gratifying.
The story is the day in the life, so to speak, of the patrons and staff of The Black Cat Cafe.
I do enjoy seeing Breckin Meyer in movies, he won my heart in Clueless. Mena Suvari is pretty, and she...( read more)
Really good movie. Really interesting and funny. So many things happening at once. This movie was really fun to watch. Great movie. Great seeing Katherine Heigl and Mike Vogel.
Caffeine is a movie which you think you know how it goes, but still watch it!
It doesn't offer much, same old story lines, funny dialogue, unnecessary scenes.
Centers around cafe in London, it tells us the story of the people inside the cafe. it might be the worker, owner or cu...( read more)
It had alot of actors that I had seen before in great movies, and some that I like as actors, but this movie blowed such a waste of good talent
This is an English independent film. It has really funny moments. It, also, has a lot of scenes where there is nothing but fast paced English dialogged. Somewhere around 40 minutes in it was starting to make me sleepy. Soon after the movie started wrapping up the different sto...( read more)
Disappointed. What's it about? A fun cast and phony accents doesn't make a non-story any better.
I feel guilty rating this a three in case anyone actually thinks it's good and rents it out on my recommendation! However, it did manage to hold my attention, maybe due to the horror of Mena Suvari and an "uglifed" Katherine Heigl, doing really bad English accents. Why they didn...( read more)
Plot Summary:
A fanciful battle of the sexes ensues when the relationships of the staff and patrons of a quirky London café are unexpectedly turned upside down by sudden revelations of terribly embarrassing secrets having to do with their sexual misadventures.
This was a cute little story about a day in a cafe. It was catoic at times, but I liked it and it was really funny!
Holy crap this film is bad. And the trailer was even worse.
There's no story, the Brit accents on the Yanks are HORRENDOUS and story-wise, it's just 90 minutes of not very entertaining nothingness. The fact that TWO cast members of Lost are in this didn't even make up for the f...( read more)
Charming character driven plot, believabley acted.. I loved it.. I've always worked in small businesses, and I have to say that this reminded me of the last one.. Working in a pub wit at one point only 5 employees and the boss.. and while I do not recall a day that had qu...( read more)
after the bad reviews and lack of reviews for this i figured it was going to be really bad, but... i actually enjoyed it, few laughs even.
I like coffee shop to hang out with friends. So, i liked this movie although it has no such thing. but fair.
I found this in the "Hidden Gem" section at Blockbuster, and to me that sums up this cute little film about an English coffee/tea house. It's a fun romp through one afternoon in the lives of the employees and customers; this is one to watch curled up on the couch with your signi...( read more)
Not bad and kind of funny. I actually watched this movie and chuckled in a few parts. Not a bad film to kill time with.
Don't waste your time. Saw this for Katherine Heigl but she's not a major player.
Lame...why were they trying to be British? Made me laugh (especially grandma) but story was LAME!
This must have been my week for terrible movies. This movie tried so hard to be Empire Records. And failed with gusto. Don't watch it.
British Accents Galore! This movie takes place in one day. It kinda reminds me of a British Clerks that takes place in a coffee shop. The condom wrapper will suprise you but make sense.
Dumb, dumb, dumb. Crude humor, which I'll admit, I laughed at from time to time, but overall, not worth what I paid to rent it.
