Really good movie. Really interesting and funny. So many things happening at once. This movie was really fun to watch. Great movie. Great seeing Katherine Heigl and Mike Vogel.
Caffeine is a movie which you think you know how it goes, but still watch it!
It doesn't offer much, same old story lines, funny dialogue, unnecessary scenes.
Centers around cafe in London, it tells us the story of the people inside the cafe. it might be the worker, owner or customers.
it holds right up to it, i dont find anything 'boring' or dragging, yeah some unnecessary scenes, but it wrapped up good. it's an independent movie which offer big names such as, Mena suvari, Breckin meyer and Katherine heigel (Don't see the movie just to see her, she had a very minor role. wonder why she signed this?!)
This is an English independent film. It has really funny moments. It, also, has a lot of scenes where there is nothing but fast paced English dialogged. Somewhere around 40 minutes in it was starting to make me sleepy. Soon after the movie started wrapping up the different storylines and it picked up.
I feel guilty rating this a three in case anyone actually thinks it's good and rents it out on my recommendation! However, it did manage to hold my attention, maybe due to the horror of Mena Suvari and an "uglifed" Katherine Heigl, doing really bad English accents. Why they didn't just leave this set in the US and use their own accents, I have no idea, it would have worked just as well, and there was no real reason for it to be set in the UK anyhow! I rated it a three because that's kind of my "average" rating, and I did find it interesting enough to watch it all the way through, (which I originally doubted I would be able to do!), and found it okay even with the bad acting, bad accents and bad story! Rent at your own risk!
A fanciful battle of the sexes ensues when the relationships of the staff and patrons of a quirky London café are unexpectedly turned upside down by sudden revelations of terribly embarrassing secrets having to do with their sexual misadventures.
Holy crap this film is bad. And the trailer was even worse.
There's no story, the Brit accents on the Yanks are HORRENDOUS and story-wise, it's just 90 minutes of not very entertaining nothingness. The fact that TWO cast members of Lost are in this didn't even make up for the fact that this is a terrible film.
Charming character driven plot, believabley acted.. I loved it.. I've always worked in small businesses, and I have to say that this reminded me of the last one.. Working in a pub wit at one point only 5 employees and the boss.. and while I do not recall a day that had quite as much action.. it had that feel.. Well done..
I could only watch the first 20 minutes of this before I lost all interest. It had the promise of something good, being that there's more than one known actor in the cast, but shame on them.
I found this in the "Hidden Gem" section at Blockbuster, and to me that sums up this cute little film about an English coffee/tea house. It's a fun romp through one afternoon in the lives of the employees and customers; this is one to watch curled up on the couch with your significant other.
Seen this little gem on the shelf and only rented it because, Breckin Meyer and Mene Suvari were on the cover. What a funny movie, I Loved it. Great cast, funny problems, good dialog. Cast was smooth, easy flowing. A movie to make you forget about your life. I will buy this movie when I can find it for sale. I'm am even going to try to rent all of the movies that had trailers in the special features section. Theese movies deserve alot of credit. They prove you don't need a budget of 50+ million dollars and a cast of super stars that make 20 million a film to make a good movie.
British Accents Galore! This movie takes place in one day. It kinda reminds me of a British Clerks that takes place in a coffee shop. The condom wrapper will suprise you but make sense.
