    early kaurismaki and it's pretty amusing, like a completely absurd gangster film, almost totally improvised. brilliant in it's way but i prefer his later works

    Calamari Union is an oddball anarchic rock n' roll b-movie of the highest calibre. A precursor to Leningrad Cowboys for sure and Kaurismäki at his most reckless. It's brilliant.
