Very adequate feel-good quasi-fluff. Music's pretty good too. That millet wine distributor is a fuckin star.

In the beginning this film was boring but the last half of it was watchable and the songs in the end were beautiful. Somehow reminded me of Love @ First Note. I just expected something more romantic as always. :)

A pure Taiwanese movie, very real, very soft, very beautiful.
All characters are created well but not all of them are well-develop.
Sometimes, I wonder why all those characters can appear together in a single scene, like the big dinner and the concert scene. This kind of style ...( read more)usually happen in Taiwan drama.
Anyway, I like the light and easy mood that they present, atleast it is not like those fucked up idol drama.
The story is simple, you can just enjoy it, without thinking too muh.
    Worth a watch!
I seldom watch Taiwan movies, Cape No.7 is not that impressive, but it suit my taste.
One of my favourite Taiwan movie since "Secret".

Although an interesting glimpse into Taiwan's lesser known history & culture & ethni...( read more)c make up if suffers in every other way. i've seen so many other better taiwanese films. i do not find this representing taiwan's independent film quality.
