Twenty years later, Angel returns to the realm of the living as a ghost to help tyro opera actor Siu-man (Liu Chi-wei) successfully substitute for the leading man. In gratitude, Siu-man agrees to help Angel and her former mentor Ma (Wu Ma) get vengeance on her killers. Though she has amble chances to slay the criminal, she only wounds him, giving her the right to be reborn. Yet when Siu-man saves a drowning girl at the exact moment that Angel is to be reincarnated, everything is thrown out of whack. Angel soon finds herself facing an eternity toiling as a slave in the netherworld. Meanwhile, Chan's son has hired a nefarious Taoist priest to take out the hero. ~ Jonathan Crow, Rovi
