excellent children's movie. haven't seen the original, but this one is great, especially with James Earl Jone as as another villain and Lori Laughlin as a motherly figure in a young boy's life.
Aaaaaah!!! The overacting! The sickening sweetness! The ENDING!!!! Oh dear - maybe I'm just particularly cynical today, but this one just made me wanna PUNCH PEOPLE!!!
Loved this movie when it first came out, I haven't really watched it lately. I liked Shannon Chandler because she was in Beetle Borgs and it was the first time I saw her in something that wasn't related.
Does a prequel count as a sequel? I don't know, but if it does, this one's a par. It's got an okay story, but I pray to God, they make no more or else this is another movie series that will be ridiculous and ruined.
Fun flick showing how newly spirited Casper became a lost soul stuck haunting a big old deserted house, befriend young Brendon Ryan Barrett in the process. Barrett, who many thought might end up the next Jonathan Taylor Thomas, really showed in this movie that his acting just wasn't quite up to that par.
