Quite boring, but with quite the stud playing the romantic interest. Suitable late night basic cable fare.

The living arrangements of Gray (Jennifer Garner) and all her fiancé's friends -- even her fiancé's best friend is somewhat strange - they all live together in a house.
This movie is great -- the type where everyone grows up a bit during the movie. I saw it a second time a ye... ...( read more ) -

Catch & Release is an average 'chick flick' romantic comedy which leans more towards a dramatic side. Nothing truly special about this film and not one of Jennifer Garner's best roles, but it is watchable. The characters portrayed by Kevin Smith and Juliette Lewis steal the mov... ...( read more )

February 11, 2008not a very good movie. i was very disappointed. I did not like the love interest, there was no chemistry between him and Jennifer Garner?

June 12, 2007This movie comes up "short". Feels like there's something missing. If you like Jennifer Garner, you'll like this film simply because she's in it. If you're not a big fan of hers, then you'll only feel disaapointed.

May 21, 2007One of the most average, forgettable, anti-climatic films in existence.
But hey, great use of the song "Razor" from the Foo Fighters at the begin which saves this movie from being scrapped to my "Movies So Bad They're Really Bad" List. -
May 18, 2007Have to agree with the last person. People are looking too far into this.. The movie doesn't promote cheating. Cheating happens in real life, and it's just portraying how the girl is dealing with it.

May 18, 2007I don't understand all the negative comments and criticism about this movie. I mean don't take it for any more than it is for crying out loud. It's just a nice little story that albeit rare, it possibly could happen in real life. People are human and have unexpected human emotions at unexpected times but that's not the point anyway. At least she found out more about her lost love and she found out more about his friends and herself. Just let'em be happy and go with the flow, lol.
