When i first saw this movie, i had no idea that ths kids are gonna be in my top lists one day, i didnt really enjoyed this film much when i watched it for the first time but when i did for the second time, i sort of did.. But just being honest, i dont think any young person could ever rob a bank like that, lol.. a good movie though..
But surely is aint better as the Spy Kids Trilogy and Agent Cody Banks is way better then this, any time..
That is more fun then this, dont buy by the cover..
This one is a mix of mission impossible and spy kids but with a very bad story. Although family movies aren't supposed to be great movies this one could and should be much better. The thing of kids robbing a high tech sucurity bank to pay for medical treament is (hardly) buyable but the end is just to stupid - although a happy ending was needed, the kids should have got some sort of punishment. This way the movie is giving the wrong idea to children that crime pays off and that the end justify the means.
This movie was so stupid!!! The kids get off the hook!!! They don't even get a slap on the wrist!!! Plus people start coming to the place that the girl was trying to save!! STUPID MOVIE!!!
Yeah I saw it. Did I like it? Not especially. On the cover it said Better than spy kids. It's an insult to even compare it to Spy Kids. Spy Kids has two sequels. Catch that Kid doesn't even have one. Watch this film and you'll know why.
This would never happen but still its a great kids movie. I really enjoyed watching it and would recommend it to everyone. If you're expecting this movie to be like MI or Fast and the furious please stay away from it. And yeah Kristen Stewart is cute.
It's was good, i actually didnt want to watch this until i realized who was in it at the beginning of the movie when the credicts came out. it was interesting..
PLOT:
This is the story of a twelve-year-old named Maddy. Maddy and her adventurous father have always shared a love for mountain climbing. Their hobby, however, has a disastrous effect when a devastating accident on Mount Everest injures his spine, paralyzing him forever--unless he gets a very expensive operation. Determined to procure the money to pay for his surgery, Maddy decides to recruit two of her friends, a computer genius and a mechanical whiz kid, to help her pull off a risky heist. They plan to break into the local super-high-tech bank, which holds a vault suspended 100 feet off the floor, and get to its safe. To complicate matters even further, Maddy's mother works as the security chief at that very bank. Regardless of what obstacles she faces, Maddy is determined to get to the funds her father needs, by using the amazing climbing skills he taught her.
A kids' movie pretending to be a heist, which eventually turns out to be an unbelievable, unintelligent, formulaic job. A plus point was Kristen Stewart's mature performance in a juvenile character.
Corbin n Max were sooo cute!!!! Oh yea...abt the movie....it was totally awsome, even though it was a little too exagerated cuz kids will never b able to do this...rite??
I found this movie funny actually. Especially when the girl bribes the guys to help her by saying that she likes both of them. It's nothing amazing though, but it's good that children can see a heist film they will understand.
the first movie that i saw w/ corbin bleu (loong before high school musical)....boy he was hot. anyway *cough* it was ok, but it seemed just the teensiest bit unrealistic.....haha. ya i wasnt a huge fan, but it was ok. i think that it is more aimed to the preteen age group, and it definitely something 8-10 year olds would enjoy. i reccomend it as something to watch with the kids while babysitting.
Not a bad film. I suppose it was really made for a younger audience who I presume would enjoy it more than I did. Come to think if it I don't even know why I watched it. There musn't have been anything else on. The script was alright but pretty predictable. Kids would enjoy it.
haha i watched this movie for two years ago..and it was okay..but then this year i found out that corbin was in it...and now i love the movie...haha..lol..:S
love max he is the cutest kid in the world and I love the way he talkes.Kirsten stewart is an amazing actress. I love her in this, the messengers and zathura really funny tha movie.
