The most amazing, cool and refreshing choreographies ever put on film! Other than that, a dull, regular piece of filmmaking... but the choreographies are simply fantastic!!
5 stars for the dancing... minus 2 stars for being a bad movie.
My sister dances and really likes this movie. I've got a so-so feeling about it.

A interesting piece about the world behind the scenes of dancing. Although some parts of this movie (especially the romance) could be severely improved, the dance is amazing and, all together, that's what this movie comes up to be.
I don't know why it took me so damn long to watch this movie. I love dance movies, or should I say I love "GOOD" dance movies. The end performance was very enjoyable. I liked this movie a lot

ah the very first M-rated film i ever saw...way back when i was eight. the dancing is beautiful and the tale is classic. now all dancing movies follow this same pattern...but this began it all for me!!

Don't ask me why I liked this movie so much. I couldn't answer that question. I guess I'm a sucker for movies about performance art/magnet schools. i love dancing, ive been dancing 4 a long time, this is my 10th year, i have dis movie 2. This is one of the best dance movies of all time!!!!!:D
Really good
but seem like a classic, all the main characters do well in the end of the movie. The best dancer quits dancing cause its isnt what she though she loved and also is very sick. Another is a girl whos amazing at dance but has a bad attitude. and then theres another who... ...( read more )
a movie worth watching - neat ballet sequences intertwined with the dreams of the young dancers beautifully.
