ah the very first M-rated film i ever saw...way back when i was eight. the dancing is beautiful and the tale is classic. now all dancing movies follow this same pattern...but this began it all for me!!

i loved this movie, it was way much better than many of the new dance movies are + the dancing is just fantastic! n i liked the story too =)

a movie worth watching - neat ballet sequences intertwined with the dreams of the young dancers beautifully.
Sometimes it is better to do what you want and be happy rather than what you're good at being successful but miserable.

some of them arent actors and you can clearly tell but the dancing is good!
Not high art, and very cliched, "Center Stage" is still a fun bit of fluff, and the dance sequence at the end - while virtually impossible to actually pull off live, is still stunning and fun to watch
This is a really good movie, the dancing is fun to watch and the storyline keeps your interest!

one of my favorite falling asleep movies. I love it because of all the good music and the good choreography. You have to have been a dancer to appreciate this movie though.
