Charlie and the chocolate factory is the best film ever and its my favorite film i love the old film and the new film the same, the only difference is that the new film has better grapics and is more organised.

I cant stand Tim Burton! All of his movies are dark, even the happy ones. They seem to be love stories for emo and goth kids. His vision is too dark and unrealistic, like a dipressed picaso.

This movie had it’s good moments here and there. But not much to actually be called a movie! Overall, this movie was a big insult to the Original. Willy Wonka was annoying and creepy. The kind of guy you wouldn’t want your kids around. The kids personalities didn’t feel genuine. Charlie wasn’t sweet and innocent like in the Original. He’s sad and deeply depressed. The movie was quite still, cold, and boring. But of course Hollywood tries to distract it’s simple-minded audience with overrated computer graphics, glitz, and pop culture. This movie was such a slap in the face. But I’m pretty sure little kids like it, and probably don’t even know that the Original exist.

its ok if the singing hadn't taken place! it ruined an otherwise cleaver and intesting film! jonny depps performace was brilliant as Willy Wonka, stepping into a almost michael jackson character!
